McDonald’s is making changes in Ohio for the better

An executive from one of the world’s leading food service brands will discuss the company’s new initiatives in Ohio at the Northwest Ohio Ag-Business Breakfast Forum. The event is hosted by the Center for Innovative Food Technology (CIFT) at the Agricultural Incubator Foundation (AIF).

Phil Saken, communications and brand reputation manager, McDonalds, will explain the company’s new multi-layered journey in the food they serve, where it comes from, how they deliver fresh and delicious food and beverages to guests, and how they continue to stay relevant to customers.

Saken will also discuss how Ohio owners/operators give back to their local communities.

McDonald’s has more than 36,000 restaurants in more than 100 countries across the globe.

Guests will enjoy delicious McDonald's Sausage Burritos and Fruit 'N Yogurt Parfaits, as well as other breakfast items.

Arrive early, as breakfast and informal networking will start at 8 a.m., with the program to follow.

The Northwest Ohio Ag-Business Breakfast Forum is an educational networking opportunity to provide information on current issues, trends and programs available to the agricultural community and those who support its advancement.

Phil is a Communications and Brand Reputation Manager for McDonald’s, covering more than 1,300 McDonald’s restaurants in Ohio, Michigan and Kentucky. He’s a former two-time Emmy Award-winning broadcast journalist, a former Communications Director in the Ohio House of Representatives, and worked as Director of Communications and Special Projects in Outreach and Engagement at The Ohio State University before joining McDonald’s in June 2011.
