U.S. Senator Brown advisor to discuss farm bill at forum

Jonathan McCracken, senior policy advisor to U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown, will be presenting an overview of the 2018 Farm Bill and what it means for Ohio farmers, the Western Lake Erie Basin and the future of American agriculture, at the Northwest Ohio Ag-Business Breakfast Forum.
The 2018 Farm Bill provided numerous updates to commodity programs—including improvements to the Dairy program—increases in trade and export promotion programs, historic investments in water quality, and continued support for the research necessary to address the most challenging problems in the agricultural sector.
A native of Wilmington, Ohio, McCracken advises Sen. Brown on, and develops policy and legislation related to, agriculture, food, nutrition, energy, environment, and infrastructure.
The Northwest Ohio Ag-Business Breakfast Forum is an educational networking opportunity to provide information on current issues, trends and programs available to the agricultural community and those who support its advancement.
