5 - 6:30 p.m.

Are you a very small business that meets the FDA definition of a "qualified facility"?

Any company that meets this definition is now subject to modified requirements of the Preventive Controls for Human Food Rule. These modified rules require the business to submit a form to FDA by Dec. 17, 2018 if a company began manufacturing, processing, packing or holding food prior to Sept. 27, 2018, attesting to its status as a qualified facility.

Save hours of your valuable time attempting to navigate the paperwork by attending this seminar and receive answers directly and all at once.

James Moriarty of the Ohio Department of Agriculture, Division of Food Safety will be at the Northwest Ohio Cooperative Kitchen (NOCK) to explain the regulations and how to determine whether your business meets the definition of a "qualified facility" and how to complete and submit the form required by FDA.

Moriarty will also discuss additional regulatory subjects, preventative controls and will be able to answer any questions you may have.
