Sonia leads commercialization and business strategy at EnviroKure, an early-stage company transforming animal manure into food-safe biostimulants and organic biofertilizers. She joined EnviroKure shortly after its founding, initially as an investor and later as a team member in 2013.
With over 20 years in agriculture and pharmaceuticals, Sonia has held leadership roles at three startups and worked with major companies including DuPont, Merck, and AstraZeneca, launching global brands like Nexium, Crestor, and Frontline for pets. She also spent seven years in Washington, D.C. on agricultural policy, working with the National Corn Growers and as a legislative aide under Vice President Bush and President George H.W. Bush.
Originally from Goshen, Indiana, Sonia earned her BS in Agriculture Economics and Communications from Purdue. Now based in Philadelphia, she is involved in civic and cultural organizations, serving as Vice Chair of Studio Incamminati and previously holding leadership roles in several local institutions.
