Getting to Know Jayne Tegge – Business Operations Specialist

We are happy to introduce Jayne Tegge to the team as Business Operations Specialist. We asked her some questions to get a glimpse into her role and what makes her excited for this position.

What do you do at CIFT? My responsibilities include managing and improving our client database, running reports, event planning, purchasing, legislative visit coordination, and more.

What motivates you to wake up and go to work? I’m excited to share the knowledge and skills that I bring from previous experiences in membership organizations, sales, customer service, and training to CIFT and to help to make things run smoothly and more efficiently. I’m a skilled researcher that likes digging to the bottom of a problem to find creative solutions. I like learning all aspects of our business and making connections between people, companies and projects.

What do you like the most about working at CIFT? In my last job, I worked remotely, so I really like working in person at the office with the team and especially at CIFT events with our clients. Every day is different, so there’s always something new to learn. I also love that we are a team of many foodies, like me and that we have frequent social get-togethers!

What’s one thing you want people to know about your role, service or CIFT? Everyone at CIFT is so kind and caring and people are always willing to help! Our team works hard to help our clients succeed. We talk about this a lot in the office and it’s obvious that this is a priority.

What’s something most people don’t know about you? I’ve been lucky enough to travel a lot and have been to 4 countries and 44 states and counting. Also,I spent nine wonderful years as a children’s librarian and sometimes I’m a roadie/chauffeur for my husband, a singer-songwriter.
