Meet the Team – Kayla Richards

Kayla

How do you make an impact at CIFT?
I have the opportunity to meet and work with a variety of key leaders in the manufacturing industry. By forging a strong relationship with these manufacturers, I help make connections to valuable resources for our clients. My ability to listen to their struggles and help identify service solution providers allows me to develop trust for CIFT and Ohio MEP as their first call for future needs.

What drives your passion for this industry?
Manufacturing is such an important part of our economy and the everyday lives of Americans. It is an honor to help grow manufacturers to reach their full potential.

What do you find most rewarding about your role at CIFT?
There are so many amazing experiences that come with my role, but being able to meet so many people and making connections to alleviate some of the pain points for our clients when they may have not been able to figure out a solution is very rewarding.

What’s a fun fact or unique talent you bring to the team?
I am an organizing queen! I like to create systems and efficient ways to help our team deliver services in a seamless manner.

Sales and Marketing Team

How do you connect with potential clients in a way that resonates with them?
I am a deep thinker and I love to get into the weeds with all of the small details of their work. I believe big solutions can come from evaluating the little things. I am also a visionary and being able to see/hear about all of the components of their business helps me elevate solution providers to make their days easier and more efficient in the long run.

What do you enjoy most about sharing CIFT’s services with new audiences?
I find it so rewarding when I am at a meeting or a networking event and the audience is amazed at how much CIFT offers. Many are often surprised that we have solutions to many pain points and how we can help increase productivity in a wide variety of areas.

How do you use feedback from clients to improve CIFT’s outreach and services?
A strong skill to have is knowing the difference between listening and hearing. When I meet with clients I fully listen to what has been their struggles in order to complete the work they need to do. Having such a diverse team of talents I like to bring back things to them and help elevate solutions or brainstorm on possible resources for our current and potential clients.
